Kansas Lieutenant Governor Lynn Rogers was one of the featured speakers at Thursday’s Kansas Ag Growth Summit in Manhattan.  During his remarks to the audience, Rogers highlighted the progress made with the new Office of Rural Prosperity he and Governor Laura Kelly created in June.

Rogers also talked with Kansas Farm and Ranch Radio Network Reporter Jay Sanderson, detailing the mission of the Office of Rural Prosperity.  He additionally addressed the need for vibrant public-private partnerships in agribusiness, the state’s response to the Holcomb Tyson Beef Plant fire, the emerging industrial hemp market and the evolving global trade situation.
