LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Kansas Farm and Ranch Radio Network is in Las Vegas! Farm Director Sara Miles caught up with a few friendly faces from the Wheat State during the 2018 National Finals Rodeo.

 

Tanner Brunner of Romona, Kansas was the first Kansas cowboy to make an appearance in round 5 of the NFR. His run in the Steer Wrestling event ended up with a time of 16.3 seconds.

In the Team Roping event, Buddy Hawkins II of Columbus, Kansas received a time of 8.9 seconds. Another team roper proudly representing Kansas, Jake Long of Coffeyville did not recieve a score this round, but he has been a formidable competitor at this years finals so far with a fastest time of 4.2 seconds in round 4.

Alma, Kansas native, Cooper Martin competed in the tie down roping event and received a time of 18.0. His fastest time so far in the finals is 8.9 in round one.

Kansas Farm and Ranch Radio was also able to catch up with bullfighter Wacey Munsell. Munsell is from Ulysses, Kansas and he was one of the bullfighters during round 5.
